[Lore is in his old office, though he can't break anything open to get to the parts inside. Believe him, he tried. But he has some nice new scientist's clothes, which at the moment consists of a white button up coat and gloves that he doesn't need right but he's wearing anyway because, eh, why not?]

By the way. I lied. I know. Shame on me. Look how sad everyone is. So disappointed. [He tsks. So few cares (and he knows that probably no one or next to no one is actually disappointed). And that flat voice that he used when he introduced himself? Completely gone. Now? Just a little hand wave.]

My name is Lore, I'm Data's older brother. I'll be you're resident maniacal android for this trip, or until the old cookie-dropping creepy driver gets rid of me. Until then, it's nice to meet you. [And he grins a grin that could cut glass. But woops! Gone after a millisecond.]

I think that'll be all. [And he switches off the feed. Because now he wants to go investigate the ship without having to try and hold the boring face (he's almost relieved to not have to do that anymore). He'll get back to things later.]

OOC: Feel free to spam off the post and catch him anywhere around the ship.

You're the older brother of an android? [A pause.] I wasn't aware that it was possible for your kind to be related.

[He's noticing that aversion, and he's going to take the silence as a 'yes'.]

If they accepted Data and not you, I doubt their accusations were entirely groundless. But you have my sympathies. [Or what he can conjure up.] That must have been a very embittering experience.

Did your father attempt to fix your perceived errors at all?

[The AIs Narvin has dealt with in the past have been more obviously mechanical. Even the T-X, for all its human appearance, is fully artificial in mannerisms. Lore's golden skin is no more telling than a Monan's blue skin. If Narvin didn't know otherwise, he might almost think that Lore was simply an unfamiliar species of alien.

He's cautious with the answer he gives. Sometimes its safer to be underestimated. But Lore has already watched him play against himself, so there are some things he can assume Lore already knows.]

Superior hand-eye coordination compared to humans. Excellent mental computational skills. [And that's all he offers.]

Yes. Sparing the one or two times a month that we're driven out of our minds and into someone else's.

Maybe you can answer the question, then. Do constructs have souls?

[Riddler makes an amused sound, somewhere between a titter and a chuckle.]

There goes your bleeding heart quality.

You were disassembled, but weren't incinerated or used as scrap metal. Unless your father likes to store his old toys, it's not unlikely that he intended to restore you at some point in the future.

Additionally, if you had enough free will to murder an entire colony, I don't see why you couldn't have imprisoned your father and forced him to fix your faulty wiring.

You're here because he thinks he can break you and remold you. We all are.

Hard to calculate. There's no pattern.

Well, it is mostly inhabited by humans.

[Lore doesn't appear to be terribly fond of the human species that made him, so Narvin decides to drop that into the conversation--as if he feels beleaguered by the human presence here--and see if anything comes out of it.]

Gauging your potential as an ally.

But mostly, I'm just interested.

Who would keep track of that.

[Tap, tap, tap, and...]

[Narvin watches Lore's shot carefully, trying to see the machine under the casual, human-like motions. And trying to see if he can calculate how precise Lore is, what his skills are.]

And what advantages are those?

[Narvin watches Lore take the shot. He keeps his face impassive. He wanted to gauge how coordinated and precise Lore's physical functions were and the answer is clearly "very."]

Those qualities are certainly not limited to humans. [Although, granted, apart from a few renegades, Time Lords as a whole had been a bit lacking in the creativity department for quite a few millennia now. But that's not something Narvin acknowledges.]
