[Lore is in his old office, though he can't break anything open to get to the parts inside. Believe him, he tried. But he has some nice new scientist's clothes, which at the moment consists of a white button up coat and gloves that he doesn't need right but he's wearing anyway because, eh, why not?]

By the way. I lied. I know. Shame on me. Look how sad everyone is. So disappointed. [He tsks. So few cares (and he knows that probably no one or next to no one is actually disappointed). And that flat voice that he used when he introduced himself? Completely gone. Now? Just a little hand wave.]

My name is Lore, I'm Data's older brother. I'll be you're resident maniacal android for this trip, or until the old cookie-dropping creepy driver gets rid of me. Until then, it's nice to meet you. [And he grins a grin that could cut glass. But woops! Gone after a millisecond.]

I think that'll be all. [And he switches off the feed. Because now he wants to go investigate the ship without having to try and hold the boring face (he's almost relieved to not have to do that anymore). He'll get back to things later.]

OOC: Feel free to spam off the post and catch him anywhere around the ship.

[That... honestly never occurred to her. Huh.] Indeed.

Guess they're just an overused plot twist. Barge life wouldn't be complete without you.
ichoosefight: (hell if i know)

Hey, we've got all the time in the multiverse.
not_annika: Seven as imagined by Captain Ransom (thoughtful)

[The idea people have souls at all sort of annoys her. Just give AIs rights, dammit, them not having something that you can't prove you have is the most slapdash excuse that she has ever come across to not do so. Also impossible to argue because it's utterly irrational.]

Yes. They are well. [Probably part of the Caeliar consciousness, if they wanted it. Which Seven doesn't know what to feel about still.]

[Narvin looks up, annoyed at someone blocking his game. It's the new android. He half-covers his irritation with a bureaucratic mask.]

Can I help you? [In a tone of voice that indicates that he'd rather not, thank you.]
ichoosefight: (fond)

[personal profile] ichoosefight 2012-08-03 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
That method usually takes years. Fair warning.

Well, good luck with that.

Honesty gets me just as many places, but I'm glad you're flattered.

What makes you so certain the colonists considered you 'evil'?

I enjoy physics and mathematics. Billiards is simply the application of both. [Narvin makes cool sports nerdy.]

I don't think people generally make new people because they didn't like the ones they had already.

What do you blame it on, Comrade? You seem fairly lucid to me?

[His eyebrow quirks up a little as Lore takes up a cue. Well, playing against an android would certainly be challenging. And would give him an opportunity to observe and gather information. He moves to give Lore room at the pool table.]

So, what era are you from? Obviously not the 21st century like much of the rest of the ship.

Ouch. That's a hard punch to deliver under the guise of critique.

In response to their extreme dislike, your father built Data to replace you-- is that right?
